We rely on your contributions to keep our organization running and growing. There are many different ways you can make donations towards our cause:

Tax Deductible Contributions

Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties relies on your tax-deductible gifts to help make the dream of home ownership a reality for hard-working, low-income families. Thank you for your support. Cash gifts are so appreciated! You can either donate online using your credit card thru Network for Good’s secure online giving service, or by regular mail.

Donate Land/Houses

If you have a buildable lot or parcel or a house that you are paying taxes on but don’t need or want, donate it to us. Gifting land/houses is tax-deductible. Talk to your tax accountant to understand the full extent of the tax benefits to you and contact us at 607 898-4148 or send email to tompkinscortland@habitatnys.org with the subject line: Land/house donation.

Cars for Homes

You can also donate cars, trucks, boats or TV’s through Cars for Homes, Habitat for Humanity's national vehicle donation program, helping local affiliates build houses. Donors receive appropriate receipts for possible tax deductions use. Visit www.carsforhomes.org (Mention Habitat World!) or call 877-277-4344.
